When my Paternal Grandmother died, I inherited a beaded 1930s chandelier and a tea set. My Maternal Grandmother ran a guest house and as a child I would help lay the tables. It was my job to put out the sugar-cube bowls, sugar tongs and teaspoons. When she died I inherited the tongs and spoons and her china cabinet. After 20 years of sitting in a china cabinet, I thought their things needed a new life.
